The Story
Why This Work Matters
I have been studying and practicing marketing since 2008.
That is a long time to watch the landscape shift. SEO changed. Social media changed. Paid ads changed. What never changed was the core problem most small businesses face: they are great at what they do and invisible to the people who need them.
Over the years I worked with businesses across different industries. But I kept finding myself drawn back to home service businesses. There is a reason for that.
My brother was a jack of all trades. Genuinely one of those guys who could figure out anything with his hands. When he passed, I found myself at a crossroads. About a year later I started studying marketing in earnest, learning what made businesses grow, and building strategies that actually moved the needle.
I was never the handy one. I was always the thinker. But when I started working with home service businesses, something clicked. These were people like my brother. Good at the work. Busy doing the work. And often losing to competitors who were simply better at being found.
That is why this space means something to me. Not every marketer can say that.
I started DYT Digital because I got tired of watching great businesses lose to average ones. I get real satisfaction from watching a small business grow past its competition, from knowing that the companies I work with had to hire new people because demand grew, from seeing a community benefit because one business decided to stop being invisible.
That is what DYT is built around. Not vanity metrics. Not bloated retainers. Real results that show up in your schedule, your revenue, and your team.
